An opportunity has arisen to join our ever expanding, forward-thinking multimodal logistics company based in Corpach, Fort William.

The post requires a qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA or qualified by experience) to prepare group monthly management and annual accounts and projections and to take responsibility for further development of the finance function and systems, joining our senior management board and reporting to the Director for Finance.

Previous experience in management accounting in a dynamic environment together with extensive experience of Sage Accounts Professional and MS Excel is essential, along with knowledge of Sage Payroll. This is a “hands-on” position and requires the ability to work as part of a team whilst playing a central role in the day to day management of the business and its growth.

Salary dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will be joining a well established team who have the necessary skills and experience to deliver a first class transport and logistics service to our customers. Working in the Outdoor Capital of the UK and within the scenic town of Fort William, you will receive all the required training to allow you to develop on your existing skills.

Previous experience working in the logistics industry would be an advantage, however this is not essential. The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.

Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting a full time Office Administrator / Planner to work within our Maintenance Facility Office at Corpach, Fort William. Previous experience of working in a busy office environment is essential along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and a good telephone manner.

The ideal candidate must be self motivated, well organised, flexible and a good communicator. Team working is essential as well as working on your own initiative.

Duties to include internal and third party bookings, invoice reconciliation, service/inspection documentation and general reception duties .
