Ferguson Transport and Shipping have an exciting opportunity available for an administrator, based at Corpach, Fort William.

The post is ideally suited for an experienced administrator who is looking to develop on their existing skills within a busy office environment.

Key features of this role include:

  • Liaising with Transport Planners and Managers on a daily basis
  • Providing administrative support and assistance for the transport staff
  • Maintenance of records and updating internal IT systems

The successful candidate must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly excel, a good telephone manner and the ability to prioritise their workload. Previous experience of working in a busy office environment is essential.

Rate of pay dependent on experience.
Aggregated holiday pay & company pension scheme in place.



Based at Corpach, Fort William, this role will cover transport, port and warehousing activities as well as interfacing with our marine vessels.

Applicants should have previous experience and knowledge working within a health and safety environment and suitable health and safety qualifications.

Key features of this role include:

  • Undertaking safety inspections and audits across the whole business.
  • Assisting with Risk and COSHH Assessment processes in addition to producing method statements when required.
  • Supporting the SHEQ Officer and Quality department to ensure compliance with a range of accreditations and managing quality assurance systems.
  • Assisting with training to educate employees on health & safety issues.
  • Administration duties within the H&S department

Travelling and overnight trips will be required as part of this role.
